Host of Dream Time on BBC 6 Music, Zakia is known for her soulful soundscapes and in-depth music knowledge. She previously hosted two cult shows Questing and The Breakfast Show on NTS Radio. She has also produced and presented podcasts for BBC Radio 4, Tate, and Boiler Room, exploring identity, music, and culture. Our studio are excited about her upcoming book, Finding Albion, on British identity and folklore, will be published by Hodder Press in 2026.
Whether she’s curating sounds, writing, or styling an incredible outfit whilst DJ'ing in our favourite London clubs Zakia’s her originality and creative talents shine through in everything she does.
