Sandra Barrio launched sandralexandra in 2019, transforming a small Instagram venture into an internationally recognised brand. Based between London and her Spanish homeland, she has expanded her collection from handmade jewellery to a lifestyle range that now includes objects, establishing herself as a distinctive voice in design.
Working with artisans in Barcelona and the UK, Sandra crafts vibrant, sophisticated creations from materials like glass, cultured pearls and metal. Her designs range from bold jewellery to elegant home accents, such as glass flowers, napkin rings and cocktail sticks, combining artistic elegance with practical charm.
With a devoted global audience, sandralexandra is featured in prestigious stores like Selfridges, MoMA Design Store, Beams Japan and 10 Corso Como in Seoul. The brand celebrates Sandra’s dedication to beauty, craftsmanship and the joy of elevating everyday life.
OUR CREATIVE PROCESS
Our creations celebrate artisanal craftsmanship, handcrafted in the UK and Barcelona using traditional techniques. From lampworking Murano and borosilicate glass to hand-drawing mould designs, stone setting with semi-precious gems, piercing freshwater pearls and designing bespoke chains and clasps for fit, comfort, and functionality, each piece is meticulously made. Every step reflects our commitment to quality and the artistry of handmade design.
We uphold the highest standards of production throughout our entire process and take pride in the strong relationships we’ve forged with talented lampworkers and metalworkers. Our in-house team is dedicated to every detail, from the initial design to the final touches, ensuring each piece is perfect before it is sealed in its packaging and sent on its way to you.
